‘Mere Khwabon Mein Jo Aaye’ was a number originally composed by Jatin Lalit more than a decade back for Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge. While the composer duo has split, Lalit Pandit gets behind the scenes composing for this romantic comedy cum fantasy flick that also sees guest compositions by Siddharath Coutto.


WAS it supposed to be about female empowerment, wish fulfilment, self-realisation or clandestine romance? Can’t say, ’cause nothing really comes through in this completely garbled venture which sees Raima Sen sharing sweet nothings with ready-for-a-fancy-dress Randeep Hooda who happens to be as unreal as the film itself.

Maybe, it was about a rock band, a la Rock On? But the struggling artist thing too does not filter across through the efforts of a dowdy housewife who pulls down her mouldy harmonium and sings folk songs in a television contest. Raima, the forgotten doormat heroine tries her best to cope up with her rotten marriage and routine motherhood, while her chauvinist husband,
